The Distillers Edition, an annual release of limited quantities in which each of seven fine malts is double-matured in a different type of cask wood, chosen to complement the characteristics of that one mature whisky, and no other. The second maturation takes place in batches, in individually prepared casks that have held a specially selected fortified wine. Each batch takes months to mature and results in a single bottling. Each limited edition bottle is marked with the date of distillation and bottling, and the batch number.
