TASTING NOTES

VIK A Rosé 2022 is a fruity, nervy, dynamic and approachable wine that unveils its virtues gradually, connecting with the profound sensibility of each instant. The Cabernet Sauvignon offers ripe red berries on the nose and round yet vibrant tannins on the midpalate, while the Syrah adds aromatic floral accents of lavender and violet. Blended together, they display notes of summer stone fruit such as ripe peaches,apricots and passion fruit, followed by a surprising citrusy touch of orange. The intense and lively yet deferential acidity pairs well with boundless creaminess, developing volume on the midpalate and electric movements that awaken the senses, providing a natural experience that best expresses the cold coastal wind embracing our valleys.

Eleven percent of this wine was aged in French oak barrels,with delicate bâtonnage work to enhance the complexity and volume of the blend. This vintage was aged entirely in sustainable barrels from our one-of-a-kind “Barroir” project.
