Company Background
Wai Shing Wine was established in 1968, as a traditional local shop in Yuen Long selling a variety of goods serving the local community. This original shop, located in Pau Cheung Square, Yuen Long remains our main store, but our business has changed considerably since those early days.
As Hong Kong’s lifestyle became more cosmopolitan in the 1980s, our company changed the business model to focus on fine wines, cognac, whiskey and liqueurs for the retail and wholesale markets to meet the changing tastes of consumers. Today, we import wines directly from producers in France, Chile and Australia which guarantees that our clients receive the highest quality products at competitive prices. Our wholesale division is a major supplier of beer, wine and other beverages to district chain restaurants, traditional and family operated restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, bars and other entertainment and hospitality businesses.
When the Hong Kong government abolished duties on wine and beer in 2008, our company seized the opportunity to expand our retail business and began to build a network of chain stores. We have now expanded to 15 retail locations serving the markets in Hong Kong.

We strive to offer a convenient shopping experience for our valuable customers through our expanded network of retail locations. Apart from selling a wide range of wines, we also offer cognac, whiskey, liqueur, beer and other products at many price points.
We aim to surpass customer’s expectations. To achieve that goal, we continuously provide training to our staff that covers product knowledge and our high service standards.
