Appearance

Amethyst colour.

Nose

First, intense blackberry aromas followed by truffle and mocha notes. Violette and floral flavours add to thecomplexity of the nose.

Palate

Cocoa and dried berries flavours with a silky, dry-yetfruity medium body and a tangy, dark berry tart, apple sauce, cedar, and mineral nuanced finish with chewy tannins.

Food Pairing

Best served at 16/17° C. To be pared with beef stews, game, thyme roasted lamb chop, Pekin duck, suckling pig and medium to strong cheeses.
