A wet spring, with record November rain, saw full dams and soil moisture, making for a positive start to the growing season. Favourable conditions throughout flowering and fruit set promoted quality and yield across all varieties. Cool conditions during December and January provided long, steady ripening conditions, perfect for developing a combination of fruit flavours.
