We’ve been in our element since theMacAskill brothers rowed across the ocean from Eigg to Skye to establish theTalisker distillery in 1830. In fact, by as early as 1898, Talisker was one ofthe best-selling malt whiskies in the UK. Every day the sea shapes who we areand what we do...Whether in terms of the unique salt tang, powerful flavour andstrong character that define our whisky or the way one little distillery hasclung to the shores of Skye for almost 200 years, enduring gales, storms andfire. Throughout, this northern outpost – Skye’s oldest distillery – hasremained strong: producing consistently fine whiskies which, once tried, arerarely forgotten.

An award-winning whisky with wonderful sweetness and warmth, intertwined with just a thread of smoke. Rich and soft but still assertive.
