Maison Perrier Jouët was founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouet, a young couple united by their love of nature, passion for champagne and the same visionary and independent spirit. By choosing Chardonnay as the signature grape variety of the House, they defined the intricate floral style that has characterised Perrier Jouët champagnes since the very beginning. For over 200 years, just eight successive cellar masters have maintained the quality and consistency of the House's wines.
Throughout the generations, Mason Perrier Jouët has created an exceptional vineyard, today ranked at 99.2% on the Echelle des crus quality scale, situated in the heart of the finest terroirs in Champagne.
Perrier Jout Blanc de Blancs is a single-grape variety champagne destined to become the lasting expression of the House's unique style and specialist savoir-faire. It is the perpetuation of a tradition dating back to the 1920s, when the House introduced the first all-Chardonnay cuvee, long before such champagnes became known as "Blanc de Blancs".
This vibrant and spontaneous, fresh and floral wine is an homage to Chardonnay. After three years' ageing in the House's cellars, Perrier-Jouêt Blanc de Blancs fully releases its mineral freshness and vivacity. With notes of tangy citrus and fresh flowers.
