A traditional Clare Valley blend of Shiraz and Malbec made with enjoyment front of mind. Aromatically, the wine is a mix of pretty highlights from the Shiraz and darker black fruits that are commonly associated with Malbec. A savoury nose of spice, cured meats, cloves and purple fruits with a classic bunchy drive. A spritely wine that is light on its feet, flaunting its fruit, sinewy tannins and a savoury detail. 35% whole-bunch ferment provides this wine with spice and texture. A unique twist on an old favourite.

Growing Conditions
A wet spring with record November rain saw full dams and soil moisture making for a positive start to the growing season. Cool conditions during December and January provided long, steady ripening conditions, perfect for developing a combination of fruit flavour.
