GRAPE VARIETIES:

Merlot and Syrah

VINEYARD:

The vineyard is situated on the southeast side of the southern part of Ardèche. The grape varieties used in this blend are planted on chalky clay soil with a small percent of sandstone. The area’s typically Mediterranean climate is influenced by the Mistral wind.

WINEMAKING

This wine is made traditionally from crushed and destemmed grapes and includes some Merlot that has undergone a thermovinification. It is fermented at a controlled temperature between 24 and 26°C.

TASTING NOTES

This product is a lively and shiny red color. It is a fruity red with good structure.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRING

This wine is perfectly adapted to grilled meat and any type of charcuterie (dried ham).

Best served at 16°C / 61°F

AGEING POTENTIAL

2 to 3 years.
