Description

This wine is vinified according to the traditional Burgundian method.

2017: A subtle vintage, with a beautiful aromatic palette. Finesse and a touch of minerality.

TASTING NOTES

The brilliance of youth colors them a bright ruby that takes on a dark carmine, black cherry hue with age.

Strawberry, blackberry, violet, reseda and rose are part of their spontaneous aromas, while maturity gives them a liquorice, leather and fur bouquet, with gamey and undergrowth accents.

On the palate, a great Burgundy is expressed. Full-bodied and powerful, rich, full-bodied, they assert themselves on a firm structure, tannins that play on the velvet, expressing themselves on a very fine grain, without hardness.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Ideal with game, prime rib, braised lamb or in brown sauce.

Perfect with all cow's milk cheeses and cheeses of character, especially Epoisses and Cîteaux.
