Description

Located close to the city of Carcassonne, Château Capendu bears the name of its village. The vineyard covers 87 hectares of land, including 27 hectares under AOP Corbières appellation, located on the foothills of the Alaric mountain, and 60 hectares under IGP Pays d’Oc appellation on the Capendu plain.

Appearance

Red garnet, intense with ruby hints.

Nose

Elegant, generous, with ripe fruits and spices.

Palate

Deep, generous, powerful, with notes of black fruits and spices, soft and supple tannins. Well balanced wine and long finish.

Food and Wine Pairing

To serve at 15/16°C with red meats, stew, game and cheeses.
