VINIFICATION

The wine is made in the vat room of the Hospices

de Beaune, at the foot of the Beaune vineyard. In

total respect of the Burgundian tradition, this great

wine was transferred to new barrels after

devatting. Purchased by the Maison Patriarche the

third Sunday of November 2015, it arrived at the

Patriarche cellars in January 2016 to be carefully

matured.

TASTING NOTES

Very attractive color in shades of bright red.

Nose of dark fruits.

Intense mouthfeel with well present tannins

and a nice minerality to conclude.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Ideal with roasted chicken with thyme or

veal blanquette with old fashioned

mustard.
