The best grapes from selected vineyard sites are destemmed and macerated for 18 days. After pressing and malolactic fermentation, the wine is left to mature in barrique barrels for up to 3 years. Then it is moved into large oak barrels, where it ages until bottling.
Intense ruby with soft brick-red glints
Complex notes of blackcurrant, kirsch-soaked cherries, leather, dried plums, black truffles, dark chocolate and herbs.
The impression on the palate is of ripe red fruit, leather, dark chocolate, tobacco and undergrowth. A sophisticated hint of wood and perfectly ripe tannins harbour a great potential for long-term aging.

Pairs well with beefsteaks and steaks, meat in spicy sauces and semi-cured cheese.
